A champion versus champion superfight will take centre stage at GLORY 96 as GLORY welterweight world champion Chico Kwasi (43-5, 23 KO) puts his title on the line against GLORY lightweight world champion Tyjani Beztati (27-4, 9 KO).文章源自武享吧-https://hula8.net/glory/73840.html
A huge co-main event has been added to GLORY 96 as GLORY middleweight world champion Donovan Wisse (21-1, 10 KO) puts his title against Germany's Sergej Braun (45-13, 27 KO) at the RTM Stage in Rotterdam on October 12.
Wisse is the world’s number one middleweight and one of the current best P4P kickboxers on the planet. A win over Braun would put him level with Alex Pereira for most title defenses in GLORY middleweight history (five).
Braun is the current ranked two middleweight in the division and holds career victories over Mo Touchassie, Michael Boapeah, and Ertugrul Bayrak, the only man to beat Donovan Wisse.
The experienced German fighter will be relishing this opportunity which would certainly be the cherry on the top of what has been a long and illustrious career.
Romanian Powerhouse Ionut Iancu (29-9, 11 KO) is looking to defend his spot in the GLORY rankings against the experienced Cihad Kepenek (23-6, 16 KO). The Turkish fighter has not appeared in the GLORY ring since the GLORY Grand Prix in march and his win by TKO against Michal Blawdziewic (11-7, 5 KO).
Iancu impressed the masses in June when he knocked out the very tough Murat Aygun (32-4, 8 KO) in spectacular fashion. His prowess in the ring combined with his cheerful personality immediately caught the fan’s attention and they’ve been looking forward to seeing more of him inside and outside the ring.
Cihad arrives in Rotterdam riding a 2 fights win streak and he is looking to get a number next to his name. With 27 finishes combined between those two, the RTM Stage’s crowd is going to feel the heat around this fight.
Speaking of making a good impression in your debut, Asdren Gashi (17-4, 8 KO) is making a quick turnaround after his impressive win over Fabrice Gnedre (25-4, 14 KO) in July. Gashi will face Colin George (23-11, 21 KO) who was his original opponent for GLORY 93. With over 90 % of his wins coming by way of knockouts, it’s safe to say that Colin will be looking for the finish. At 2,06 meters and 134 kilos, The Beast is a fitting nickname for the Surinamese who will have to deal with Gashi’s relentless pressure. The young Albanian will be looking to make it 2 for 2 in 2024 and this fight is another guaranteed barn burner on an already very stacked card.GLORY 96 will take place October 12 live from RTM Stage in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
